Jamie has been with the team for two years, having gained his BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh, one of Scotland’s leading universities for physiotherapy. Experience treating servicemen in Belfast nurtured a passion and has since steered Jamie towards specialising in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Whilst Jamie is experienced in treating a wide range of injuries and conditions, he is particularly interested in injuries affecting the lower limb. Outside of the office, Jamie is a Fusilier in the Territorial Army, and volunteers at a local veteran charity.
Rugby has been a life long interest for Jamie from representing his school in the Ulster Schools cup and captaining his university 1XV.

Maria is a very nice, kind and people-oriented physiotherapist who graduated from the Alexandreio Technological Institute of Thessaloniki (Greece) with a BSc. (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2007 and then went on to gain an MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Healthcare in 2008. Then in 2012 Maria graduated from the London School of Osteopathy.
Maria strongly believes in adopting holistic and patient-focused care, which aims to identify the root cause of complaint and alleviate the patients’ pain and discomfort. As she recognises the uniqueness of each patient, her treatment is tailored to each patient’s individual needs by using a blend of techniques.
Maria is experienced in treating a wide age range of patients presenting with musculoskeletal and
neurological conditions. She enjoys treating spinal complaints and has a keen interest in, both treating
and preventing, neck pain, headaches and occupational-related injuries.
Maria’s aim is to support and maintain the individual’s ability to return to health and well being by offering advice on posture and preventative exercise.
Maria used to play tennis at a competitive level and now plays to maintain her general fitness. She also

Tim (TJ) Whelan has been a team member for over 2 years, and graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2007. He is a really nice guy, and very effective musculo-skeletal osteopath. TJ works at various clinics across London, and enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team, including at Balham Physio. He also previously worked alongside addiction counselors in Clapham, and Chiropodists in Upminster. He has found working with GPs in Balham particularly interesting, with a broad range of both patients and doctors who require treatment.
TJ has 5 years experience, and a BOst in Osteopathy. He is a very easy guy to get on with, a careful and considerate practitioner, who is honest and trustworthy. He puts 110% into every treatment. You are in very safe hands, and will be well looked after.
